I’ll not be here,

Dead and gone

Nobody will have to shed a tear.

Someone told me once

I would not live to see 43,

High blood pressure

maybe my truck wrapped around a tree.

Problems have followed

me all my life,

losing my job has been hard

especially on my children and my wife.

Better off they will be

disappointment is all I am to them,

Broken heart

and a dying flower on its stem.

Will I be missed

or have I already been forgotten,

The noose of depression is tearing me apart

they say my attitude is rotten.

A man without a job

is like a single star in the void of space,

so many talents going to waste

NOBODY to listen anyplace.

They say laughter

is the zest of life,

When it is gone from within

Fear of death is fleeing my empty inner void of outward strife.

Time is short for life never lasting is the issue

for one that is already dead inside,

Just what I need to here

Insults from loved ones saying that I lied.

What does it matter anymore

No matter what I do they think I am always mad,

Madness and anger is it clinical depression

Tears a flowing for what life could have been . . . wow,  I’m really sad.

Empty bottles of prescription pills and household cleaners

Flames are grasping my feet as I walk deeper towards hell,

No more pain can I feel

Darkness no longer bothers me

as I realize the light is real for me to see.

What an aweful dream this has been

waking up is what I needed,

The nightmare had me wrapped in fear

to death I almost conceeded.

God made me a promise

that he would never leave nor forsake me,

Eyes wide open and fully awake

for what I am to be.

Dread and despair is the devils lie

for those that don’t listen to Gods great toon,

For he proclaims with a still small voice

The end is near

the ticks on the clock are about to stop,

GOD is at the door knocking

time demands more with less time to drink that soda pop.

Time is a friend of death

taking away other rituals is its job,

Going to church to worship our Saviour

time is jealous as it begins to rob.

A little here

a little there,

Time has no bounds

as bodies of men grow weary and tear.

After time takes its toll

Angels of Heaven take to flight,

Saving souls from the grips of hell

This is my question to Hilliary Clinton, “If you are willing to turn a blind eye to the infidelity and criminal activity of you and your husband, will you turn a blind eye to those who want to attack and kill American Citizens at home and abroad?”

on that fateful day,

All reality as you know

seems to disappear as you . . . . run away.

When all the military throughout the world

meet in the open plains of the valley,

Will you be on your knees

or be at a protest rally.

The day is coming soon

where good and evil meet,

All human kind shall shutter

as the coming invasion shakes your feet.

or run to the sea,

Hopefully you are a child of the King of Kings

Into the eternal expanse

pressing through to life so grand.

A pause . . . . . . slows the pace

reaching toward heaven,

My eyes wide open angelic beings race

to and fro, then . . . . . . . I saw your face.

Heavens Glory have I now witnessed

lifting my arms towards the stars,

I have blossomed forth with brilliant color

reaching out to you even though you were afar.

Still a little rough around the edges

to my amazement you reached out . . . . . . and picked me,

Shaken but not broken

life now has purpose for the world to see.

The Glory of Jesus

placed fast in your heart,

It is apparent that

we will never part.

Glory found me

with your tender touch,

A family you created just for me

nothing would I trade you for . . . . . . . . I Love You so much.

I know when it is my time

to wilt and die,

My peddles may lose their color and fall away

you will lay me down with my face towards the heavenly sky.

From the depths of the earth to the sky

what is that you hear

Up Down, Up Down

those sounds in your mind . . . . . . . .  just sear

from behind a closed door

now what is all this for

crack open the door to see . . . . . . . the bed

did you hear that . . . . . . . . . . what is being said

Oh. . . . . . . . . Holy knee’s are a bending

sounds of prayer are ascending

visions . . . . . . .  is that what you are seeing

the earthly plain is now . . . . . .  a fleeing

again, what is that . . . . . . do you see

someone is cutting down . . . . . . . a tree

you begin hearing screams of terror, from afar

you look Up, you look Down

as you see . . . . . from heaven a falling star

just a simple man you think you see

the message you hear . . . . . . what next to the sea

closing your eyes to catch yourself

your steady now . . . . .  with your hand on the shelf

you ask, why do they call him king

you hold your ears as the whips lash out . . . .  in a searing sting

tears fill your eyes

the tree is not a tree but a cross . . . . . . under the skies

heartache is all you feel

Roll that dice,

life eternal is not for some

What have I got to lose,

If I follow him

all the talk of safety and security

But not willing to give up,

Sinking into the pits if hell,

families crying out in a world of dread

Broken and battered,

icy hearts do abound when all love seems to be dead

Someone is knocking, knocking, knocking,

answer it and quit hiding on the floor

It is the master, He’s returned,

bringing gifts of love and joy, not heartache and strife

Get UP off the floor and don’t be scared,

open the door and step into eternal life

Leave behind the turmoil and insecurity,

living life with hope and love ……………..Oh, it is so, so nice
